The Art of Editing in Writing
On Monday, May 11, at 7:00 p.m., award-winning writer and editor Adele Annesi will present the innovative Art of Editing in Writing workshop for fiction and nonfiction writers at Plumb Memorial Library in Shelton.
The Art of Editing in Writing uses the six Rs of editing — reading, revising, rewriting, restructuring, researching and rereading — to help writers hone their work for publication in today's competitive market. Workshop leader Adele Annesi is an editor with Gartner, Inc., and has worked as a development editor for Scholastic Publishing.
Adele is also a press correspondent and creative writer whose work has appeared in The Fairfield Review, Hotmetalpress, Miranda Literary Magazine, TheNovelette.com and The Pittsburgh Quarterly. She received the editor’s choice award from Poetic Voices in America and is a nominated member of Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who of American Women.
