Interviewing skills are invaluable for obtaining the kind of stories and information that adds color to fiction, non-fiction and news articles. Getting the most interesting and provocative stories and comments from interview subjects is an art. During this skill based program, you will learn how to get subjects to meet with you, whether that person is a celebrity or the woman on the street, how to put both yourself and your interview subject at ease, how to prepare and ask the right questions to elicit information that hasn’t been told to others, as well as other successful interviewing techniques. You will have the opportunity to practice interviewing skills.
