The Adirondack Writer's Retreat

Dear Writers--

As the Adirondack Mountain Writers' Retreat draws near (August 20 - 23), I find myself with two slots left open. I want to fill them, and I want to do my best to make them affordable to interested writers. For that reason, I am offering a $50 discount to any registrant who is a member of the IWWG.

But WAIT! I can do better!! If TWO IWWG members sign up, I will deduct an additional $50 from the fee of each. Time is short and I will have to accept registrations on a first come, first served basis.

This note so far has discussed only money. I don't want to make the message unduly long, but I must add that this will be an outstanding creative writing workshop (fiction, memoir, personal essay) with gifted writer and teacher Irene Sherlock. Writers are urged to bring a work in progress and "workshop it" for the four days through seminars, discussion and consultations, pushing it toward publication. There's lots more information on my website (PersisGranger.com) and I'd be delighted to answer questions by phone (518-623-9305) or email. Please share this information with writers whom you think may find it of interest.

Many thanks--
Persis Granger

Thanks, Gizelle, for helping to spread the word about the Adirondack Mountain Writers' Retreat. Some of your Connecticut writers may be familiar with the outstanding instruction and work of our workshop leader, Irene Sherlock, who is on staff at Western Connecticut State University and also presents programs independently in the Danbury area.
With sincere appreciation,
Perky Granger
